Ensenada Adventure embraces the same spirit of Tijuana Adventure.
Private tours for small groups no larger than 10. $200 for 4 people, add $40 each person after. Expenses are on you.
All walking around downtown Ensenada while eating and drinking and stopping at historical sites. The original margarita (supposedly), the first fish taco (supposedly), places that Anthony Bourdain visited and more!
Ensenada tours typically last 6+ hours starting at “La Bandera” the gigantic flag near the docks.
Tours usually start at 11 am and end around 5 pm, perfect for cruise ships! But I’m flexible. Starting time and pickup spot can be anything you want.
Pick-up spot is under that gigantic flag. The tour is one hour walking loop (according to google maps) with an optional long hike to Princess Tara, a beautiful lookout spot with a gigantic Nepalese statue (it’s a trip).
On the way you’ll have some of the best seafood in the world, beers, wine, tacos, and more.

I’ve been wanting to do tours in Ensenada for a long time and they are finally happening. And if I don’t have a tour in Tijuana, I’ll head over to Ensenada and take you to my favorite spots while telling you all the history and stories of the city.
Alas, I can’t be at two places at once. So… introducing my friend Kelvin:
He is an Ensenada local and joining me in the Ensenada Adventure … uhh venture. If I’m doing a tour in Tijuana and can’t cover Ensenada, he got you.
I’ve been going to Ensenada for over a decade but I’ve never lived there. I’m not sure if I want to live there. In some way, I’ll find more peace and tranquility. In another, it’s too early to slow down. And finances might be tougher over there. There are less jobs.
If Ensenada Adventure takes off, or if I start getting good income from different sources… then yes. I rather live in Ensenada than Tijuana. Assuming that I would be traveling at least one month of the year… I would be happy with the Ensenada life.
That’s one reason I created Ensenada Adventure. The other is because I fucking love seafood and the craft beer scene over there. The adventures usually end early because people have to catch the cruise. Not like my midnight crazy adventures in Tijuana.
The point is… I’m forty. The long party life is going to kill me. And if I want to keep living the life I’m living… Ensenada tours keeps it at a better pace and great food.

I should turn my focus into doing a Tijuana or Baja newsletter every week instead of writing my personal journey. Or I should do both. I have the next few days off and I can work on this. I’ve met people in person that tell me they could help me with SEO. That used to be my job. I can do it. I wasn’t sure I wanted to do it. I know I’m not the first result when you search for tours in Tijuana. You have to dig deep. Or find me through Reddit. Or other social media.
It was like that for a reason. Well two. I’m afraid of success. I’m lazy.

While driving to Dimitri’s I noticed that the new building where the old Soriana is on its way. It’s the future Westin Hotel in Tijuana by Marriott.
The skyline in this city changes so fucking often. And it’s huge.
I’ve been to a few new hotels because my Chinese tourists stayed in the new ones in downtown. I swore they were new. They are over a year old.
They have hot tubs on the rooftop and a bar. And it’s cheap.
Tijuana is wild.
And doing a newsletter by myself is going to be wild. So bear with me.

Yo. People go wild about me not liking tortas here. I’m making a video about that and I’ll link you here. But here is what I mean:
42k views on TikTok and another 25k on Instagram. And people go wild because I don’t fucking like tortas in Tijuana. Sometimes I want to delete all my media… and the next video is going to explain my standing. But people are going to shit on it anyway. And I’ll get hate messages.
That’s why I’m hesitant towards success. I get overwhelmed.

It’s HALFWAY through the year. And for the first time in a LONG LONG time I’ve been living mostly by doing this. I’ve had around 2.5 tours every week. I don’t have a tour this week but I have two next week. And tours show up out of nowhere. And people promising that they are going to hire me. Or random people send me messages asking me Tijuana advice and I respond for free but they send me Venmo or Zelle because they appreciate it.
So there is more money to be made.
And a newsletter to write.
Seriously. Thanks to all my clients. I haven’t had a bad tour in YEARS. And in the 12 years I’ve been doing this I’ve only had 3 bad tours. Out of over 100 tours they all have been great. Some have been legendary. Some mixed with the other tours in my mind. But I am lucky to earn my money this way and I thank you all.
I often say I’m going to retire. I think I mean I’m just going to get more expensive…
Or perhaps writing an independent newsletter is the way to some sort of retirement from my tours. Make my money writing this newsletter while doing videos and pictures.
