Yeah… Owen Wilson didn’t say “I love Tijuana,” but he was asked what the rest of his life will be in five words.
And the last word he said was… Tijuana:
Cabo, Vegas, Istanbul, Berlin… Tijuana!
I’ve had tourists that compare Tijuana to Istanbul. Tijuana is often compared to Vegas and I mention it in my tours. Tijuana is a crazier Vegas. No one really mentions Berlin but there is a wall and Berlin’s wall fell… so will the border wall.
It is pointless.
They are building a new giant highway that connects Playas de Tijuana to the east side of Tijuana. It is taller than the border wall. The wall looks so dumb next to a gigantic highway. A lot of Americans still think Tijuana and Mexico is in the 1920s and that people are incapable of going above, around, or under the wall.
It’s pointless. But keep throwing money at it. It will eventually fall down. I’m guessing before 2050.
25 years is a lot of time. 25 years is nothing. Let’s see if I’m still around in Tijuana… doing tours.

I have a tour today! With repeated clients. It’s the third time they hire me. She’s a lawyer and it’s always good to have lawyers as contacts. So I didn’t charge her the reservation because I trust her.

Then I have a tour the day after. Strangers. But I’m sure it’s going to be a fun group. They are staying in the same hotel that the Chinese stayed a few weeks ago. That hotel somehow is getting a lot of American customers. There social media and SEO game must be top notch because it is packed and it’s a basic hotel. They have a nice rooftop. But it’s just standard nice cheap hotel.
So many new hotels in this city. So much new shit in this city. It’s impossible to cover it all.
I did a video of a day in San Diego with my girlfriend. The English version did okay.
It’s an ad for my shirts and it worked.

At the time of this writing, it has over 50k views and over 2k likes. And it has some hate. Some criticism about the places I went to suggesting other places that I can’t reach via trolley. Or people commenting without knowing anything about me.

We went to Ali’s Chicken. It’s an all time favorite of mine.
I’ve done photography for them (and got paid for it). But they are not my favorite because of that… they are my favorite because it truly is the best fried chicken waffle sandwich that I’ve ever tried…
No one criticized that. No one said anything about that… But we also went to the Church!
The Church by Lost Abbey.
It is an amazing location. The first Presbyterian church built by Mexicans in San Diego in 1906 and now it’s a brewery! And they have great stuff!
It is also near a trolley stop. One of the best places you can visit in San Diego from Tijuana via trolley. And just a block away from there…
TNT Pizza. My favorite pizza in San Diego is Luigi’s. But I follow a lot of pizza people and a lot of them love TNT. Especially their pickle dill pizza. They had one last slice and we got it. It was very good. My pepperoni slice was fair standard but in a very positive way. I could eat that type of pizza forever. And they have beer in there as well. It is a simple place with some of my favorite shit.
AHH people criticized this part. As if I’ve never been to another pizza place in California. TNT is shit wah wah wah.
Yo. Fuck off. It’s my opinion and I’ll definitely go back to TNT Pizza when in downtown Tijuana.
But at the same time, thank you for your comments? It gives me more views… but it’s also… so fucking annoying.
