Why are you so expensive if you are getting paid to party!?!?
Yes. It’s still a job. I’ve been doing tours for 12 years (on and off). I have other jobs. I’m a writer and a photographer. I have more than a dozen cover stories published in the San Diego Reader and I wrote two books. I have photos published worldwide. I still do photography and writing jobs, but the key to life is balance. And right now, I’m enjoying the tours.

After a tour, I usually end up exhausted. This last bachelor party tour was 3 days long!
With that said, my tours are not for everyone!!! Feel free to get a different cheaper tour guide. Feel free to do the tour by yourself!!! I encourage it! Tijuana is safe and fun!
I am not for everyone!!! Not everyone is for me!!! If you message me on Instagram with the only purpose to go get “Chinese food” then… just go. You don’t need me for that.
So why pay me? Because I know the history of this city, I know it’s people, it’s secrets, and I have plenty of stories to tell. You are not hiring a basic tour guide, you are hiring some sort of celebrity (though I hate to call myself that). You are hiring the Matingas! More tours might come with other tour guides for a smaller price, but it ain’t the same.
My tours are about craft beer, unique drinks, and great food (street or sit down). I’m constantly discovering new places and writing about it. And I’m great at improvising!
My perfect group is 6 people. For 6 people, I charge $200. Expenses are on you. My perfect tour is 6 hours. 4 beers. 2 meals. 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
It can be earlier. It can be later. Tours tend to extend after hours as well. And I tend to personalize my tours to the clients needs!
And if you insist, we can head to the Chinese food. Please bring extra cash for that. And there’s an extra charge for taking you there. It takes a toll in my soul.
Back in the day at the Chinese food… you just to pay a photographer. These type of photos you don’t see anymore.

1-3 people Tijuana Adventure tour. $200.
4-6 people Tijuana Adventure tour. $250.
7-10 people Tijuana Adventure tour. $300.
