La Ballena – Long Bar

La Ballena: The official name was The Liquor Palace but it was dubbed La Ballena by locals and The Long Bar by tourists, given that it was the longest bar in the world from 1923-1960. Over 100-yards of one long-ass bar selling pints of beer for 15¢ and tequila shots for who knows how cheap.
In the 60s throughout the 90s it moved across the street to what is now Border Psycho Cantina. In the 2000s another bar was dubbed La Ballena in Plaza Santa Cecilia (also known as La Legendaria).
